As Taffs Well is only 5 mins from home I was just about to get ready and come down to watch the game when the heavens opened - being a lightweight that changed my mind

Blues North U16 vs. Scarlets game tomorrow evening has been switched from Abercwmboi RFC to Aberdare RFC. Kick-off is 7.15pm.

The Blues South vs. Dragons game has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Tredegar RFC. It is hoped that this game will be played next Wednesday 16th December, venue tbc.

Hi Tabs

What are the age ranges that play? I've seen you post information on U16 upwards but a friend of mine was saying that her son is playing for the Blues U13s?

Ages go from 8s up as far as I am aware. I dont normally get the lower games (under 15s down) when I do I will post them but most are palyed on Sunday mornings.  They  often get cancelled and finding out where they are is also tricky, Sometimes I pity the parents.

This page gives some fixtures http://www.cardiffblues.com/33_3109.php but its last seasons??? This is why I dont try

The WRU leagues are run at 16 & 18 although you wouldnt know it if you look at the WRU site.... These games are easier to keep track of. the best site for this is the Dragons

I do know a man who maybe able to help though, leave it with me

From Cardiff Blues:

Cardiff Blues Under 18's 65 - 0 Gogledd Cymru Under 18's

The Gogedd Cymru under 18s were no match for the Blues who improved their lofty position in the table with a 65-0 victory over their hosts at Wrexham.
Playing with power, pace and no little skill, the Blues led 41-0 at the interval courtesy of tries from Cory Allen, Ellis Jenkins, Callum Thomas, Harry Robinson and Elliot Jones (2).

However showing real character the second half saw a massively improved performance from the Gogledd Cymru side who never once allowed their heads to drop.

Unfortunately, the Blues were in no mood to let up and further tries came through Thomas Davies, Robinson, Allen and Elliot Jones who completed his hat-trick.

From Cardiff Blues:

Blues South A 19 - 12 Swansea
In the first of this season's finals of National competitions the Blues South A held on to an early lead to beat a gallant Swansea team. In the first half dominated by the large Blues South pack the team established an early 14 point lead. Tries by Josh Pritchard and winger Tom Slocombe both converted by Glen Evans in the first quarter looked to have been the first of many that the Blues team would score. That this was not to be, was a tribute to a gallant, determined and at times skilful performance by the Swansea team. In the first half Jack Thorburn of Swansea scored a try to reduce the Blues lead. After the break Swansea took the attack to the Blues South team. A well organised defence and some ill discipline meant that the Swansea team did not add to their points tally until the last 5 minutes when Kier Nayland-Davies scored a try converted by Matthew Kenny. The last few minutes of the match were tense for the Blues South team as they clung on to their narrow lead. While the Blues South A deserved the victory the Swansea young players can take credit for giving their opponents a great battle.
