All The Time Ref:

I wonder why it has been delayed?

There won't be mush-room at CRFC Ltd AGM !

Sorry my coat is on.

From today's Echo:

Allan Doull admitted the club was a month behind at the end of last year.

Later in the same article Doull says " Back in December we were asked to pay the bill which was related to historical debt".

So not quite so simple . A debt from a while back. A debt hanging around the club.

What next with this club?

First we fail to pay the tax ending up in court and in the last few months we had the phones cut off at the Arms Park because the company did not pay the phone bill.

Thomas, Norster Doull and ALL the board are dragging the our club through the mud. They are a bloody disgrace!

Not for the first time on this site have I had to defend my position as a Director against slurs cast by people who have a limited knowledge of what I do.

With regard to me"dragging our club through the mud" I would welcome a discussion with this person to find out exactly what I should be doing.

As for me being "abloody disgrace" I don't think we know each other do we?

I have only responded because of the emphasis in the posting that"ALL the board" are the same.

I will be in the Clubhouse as usual tomorrow and will be more than pleased to discuss my position.

Keith, most of the regular forum users know that you work tirelessly for both  CRFC and CAC, representing us on the board . People should not be so quick to jump to conclusions and tar all of the board with the same brush.

I think we need to keep a sense of perspective on this. The Ltd company is is a mess, of that there seems to be little doubt. Sadly we know that certain people hold a stranglehold over the company and seem to act with little regard for the members or their fellow board members.

I would like to say that for me Keith and some other board members are trying to work in very difficult circumstances.

So HCL could we agree that is Tthe board, with some notable exceptions" rather than "ALL the board".

Are you going to use your position of influence to let your organisation's members know of the financial issues?

Phil, the supporters' club does meet with the Blues management on a regular basis, but meets with the marketing and commercial side as opposed to the financial arm. If CBSC become aware of any pertinent information we will of course publicise it to our members.  I am personally aware of no financial issues apart from those reported recently in the press.

Should you not be taking a proactive position and therefore should you not be ASKING questions  about the financial issues?

I would agree with that, as listening to Keith for the first time, at the CAC agm, he seems to be a decent enough bloke and I believe he supports what is best for Cardiff rugby and for me that means keeping rugby at CAP.

But, and it's a big but, those who weren't there or who don't know him or for whatever reason will tar all of the CRFC board with the same brush of which he is a member and, after all, it is the board that make the decisions.

The financial situation of the club is talked about on all message boards as is the ill thought out move to Leckwith which doesn't seem to be going too well (is anyone surprised? Was it a rugby decision?). Will we expect any truthful feedback from CRFC about these most talked about issues? I doubt it.

Here are a few questions for Keith. You said at the agm that CRFC would be reminded of their responsibility to maintain the signage around CAP. Any progress on that? Also do you not think it's just not acceptable to have to do this in the first place? As a professional organisation, why should they have to be reminded to do something that to most would be regarded as a routine task to carry out?

Have you spent £1 to download the accounts to see the debt level? You really should do if you are representative of the supporters or a supporters representive - either or. Shouldn't CBSC now be asking questions of the financial status of the company rather than wating for others to bring it to your attention via walesonline?

"Hey, Tina, how much does CRFC ltd owe?" is a question she really should be able to answer as it is her job to bring in the income to pay off that debt.

I'm sure that the (Cardiff) Blues Supporters' Club can afford the £1.

IF the Supporters' Club represents the SUPORTERS as opposed to the Club then it is the least it should do.

Phil, as I've mentioned before, I'm not a particularly political animal, but I'm more than willing to spend a £1 to download the accounts. Can you post up the URL or PM it to me. I even have someone ready to translate the financial speak for me.

It's a service to your members. Not about you being a "political animal".

Getting involved in a breakaway Supporters Club is a strange move for somebody apolitical, but there we go.

Maybe a service to your members could include why the squad isn't as strong as Uncle Peter promised it would be? The answer lies in the "Order information on this company" bit.

Especially one set up at the request of the Club despite their comments that it was not.

I don't know about anyone else who's seen the accounts but the big differences I noticed on the balance sheet between the 2 years shown are the increase in assets due to the increased levels of debtors (up by 41%) and the increase in the amount owed to creditors (up by almost 50%) - basically who's not paying CRFC Ltd what is owed to them and why the increase in what is owed to others? Are they related?

I think they would be my queries.  Of course next year's set of accounts will be the really interesting ones.
