29-8 at half time. Then a collective brain fart.

Birmingham could have won it at the end with a kickable penalty but the sense of boredom probably got to him as well.

Two truly awful sides and a truely awful referee made this a night to forget.

Still a Tony B said: "Things can only get better".

If they had kicked the penalty, wouldn't they have drawn the game?

There's a point. Has the Taff end score board been stolen or what coz I couldn't see it? Don't tell me it's made it's way to CCS???

I asked a committee man "whats happened to the scoreboard" and was told it has been taken to the city stadium.

Well if the scoreboard has been taken from CAP, then surely CRFC LTD are not maintaining CAP to the level that it was when they took out the lease! Angry

29-27 if they scored 3 point for the penalty!? Suggrests to me they would have won 29-30

I would guess it may be something to do with the Hospitality  Boxes being mothballed and the power being cut off at that end.

A "nice" end for the Barry Nelmes Suite (Thanks Uncle Peter).

I suggested in drunken jest that the scoreboard might have made its way to CCS, but it looks like it has. Bloody hell.

How has this happened? Who allowed it to happen?

Did CAC go along with it and gave their blessing or was it stolen by CRFC Ltd in a midnight raid or something from right under their noses?

Good point stwi and the scoreboards are surely part of the fixtures and fittings at CAP or aren't they?

Does this latest farce mean they can remove anything from CAP that takes their fancy, even signage that they can't be bothered to maintain?

Yeah ATTR you're right. I wasn't sure what the score was at that point in time as I was watching from behind the goal, Westgate Street end.

The scoreboard is still part of CAP and could have been relocated to the north stand where power could be tapped from the floodlights supply. If CRFC Ltd want a scoreband then they should buy their own for CCS.

But the scoreboard is owned by CRFC Ltd.

Didn't know that, so I suppose I should take back my rants.

I don't like it though and I wonder what else they own at CAP that they could remove in the future.

But the Cardiff City Football Club Stadium together with it's fixtures and fittings are owned by Cardiff City Football Club, and anything taken from Cardiff Arms Park to Leckwith will just get gradually assimilated into part of Cardiff City Football Club's fixtures and fittings.

I'm just waiting for the contents of the Hubert Johnson Room to disappear and subsequently turn up in the Cardiff City Football Club trophy room only to be sold off at some point in the future to raise money for a new striker for CCFC.

If the scoreboard is listed as CRFC Ltd property and is clearly not a fixture that can't happen. Just like when you rent a house any picture you put up on the wall is yours and not your landlord's.

I bet the pitch covers are still at Leckwith, I wonder if we'll ever see them again.

Cardiff RFc Ltd is the company. There is no such organisation as Cardiff Blues! Cardiff Blues is merely a part of Cardif RFC Ltd no more no less ( As are the Rags).

SOrry I'm confused now. Who did you think owned the scoreboard?

I would have thought that the scoreboard, pitch covers etc. would have been part of the fixtures and fittings of Cardiff Arms Park and "LEASED" by Cardiff Rugby Football Club Limited from Cardiff Athletic Club, hence title of the items would remain with CAC.

If you rent a house from me which is fitted with a washing machine and dishwasher then because you don't have enough money to cover the rent you sell my washing machine and dishwasher to the local secondhand electrical shop, you are guilty of theft.

The Scoreboard was bought by CRFC Ltd  a few years back. I can't see the covers as either fittings or fixtures.

It never occurred to me that the scoreboards were owned by CRFC Ltd until you mentioned the fact. I assumed that they were part of the f and f's at CAP and therefore necessary to its proper function while a game is in progress. Now we have the situation that people in and around the clubhouse can't see a scoreboard. A minor point maybe, but still.

If the pitch covers are still at CCS then they should be returned as that ground has under soil heating which now works. There is no reason for them to be down there, so if they haven't already been returned, will somebody be asking CRFC Ltd if they would kindly bring them back as their 2nd team will probably be in need them this coming winter?

Agreed about the covers.
