Best of luck both sides. I hope it's a good social occassion as well.

Sadly can't get there or any other game in fact, so I'll take this chance to wish every one an Happy Xmas and great New Year.

Still following and supporting with the help of this site etc.

All the best Jim, from Ernie and Mair (my Mam and Dad) and me of course. Let's hope for a good game.

My Dad is sponsoring James Loxton this season as James's grandfather Jimmy was my Dad's first cousin and they were very close, he's now hoping he can do what James's granddad would do if he was with us today.

All the best to you xx

James is a good up and coming player and well thought of. He's got a good future in rugby

Apart from the diehards, who else will know that the game is on as the Ebbw Vale game is still advertised as the next match on the hoarding outside the ground.

Typical. Some things never change.

Do we think the game will be on?

The current weather forecast is for a warmer day, I certainly hope it will be OK as we are planning on driving up to Cardiff and back on Boxing Day, although of course that is dependant on the weather.

For those of you like me (sick and bad) who didn't/couldn't make it today -  Cardiff 0 - GW 26.

Very disappointing result.

Al where can I start, to just say the better side won would be an understatement, the Cardiff team did not look like scoring and probably wouldn't have had they still been playing now.

What was more galling was the fact that Kristian Gay, Darren Ryan, Craig Morgan and Rhys Shellard were all on the sidelines either as travelling reserve or not selected and most probably would have improved things had they been playing.

With the squad we've got, even allowing for injuries, Paul Moriarty must shoulder the blame for such an awful result, by accounts so far we were lucky to get nil.

I'm just glad we didn't make it, we were intending to drive up today but we had a late night last night and didn't wake up until quite late.

I'll get your CB v T DVD off in the post when the PO opens as it looks likely that the next time we'll see you will either be the Bedlinog cup match 16/1 or possibly more likely, in Llandovery the week after as we are staying in Llandovery that weekend, up Friday, match on Saturday and back home on Monday.
