I have just heard the very sad news of the death of Jim Trigg.
Jim was a fantastic supporter and benefactor of CRFC Premiership team and a very brave character who bore his illness with great dignity.
On behalf of all who knew him at CRFC we say"Thanks fo everything Jim , it was a pleasure to know you."
Our deepest sympathy to all of Jim's family and friends.
I was not a personnel friend of Jim but new him to say hello to in the clubhouse.
A sad loss.
My sympathy to Jim's family.
That's dreadful news.
Following Cardiff RFC all over from sunny Bournemouth in Blue and Black
That's very sad news, my condolances to Jim's family.
Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a trifle.

AL, FUNERAL NOTICE IN TONIGHTS SOUTH WALES ECHO " PEACEFULLY AT HOLME TOWER JAN 8TH. APRIVATE FAMILY FUNERAL WILL BE HELD. JIM`S LIFE WILL BE CELEBRATED LATER THIS SEASON AT CAERAU RFC AND GLAMORGAN WANDERERS RFC. "
Deepest sympathy to Jims family.
Always sad when a school mate passes away.
Makes you feel mortal doesn't it. The first one of my schoolfriends died of a heart attack just turned 40. We have close friends that live near us, we've known them for years, Janet we knew had cancer but she seemed to be holding her own. We rang them on New Year's Day to wish them a Happy New Year to be told that she had passed away that very morning, she just dropped off to sleep and stopped breathing, her funeral was this morning which is also our 38th wedding anniversary so 2010 is already a bad year and it's only 15 days gone. The sad news about Jim has just finished what has been an awful day for us.
Didn't know Jim, but from what i've read on this website over the years, he was obviously a good 'un.
My sympathy to his family and friends.
That is so sad. Such a nice guy and a real friend to Cardiff and GW RFC
My sympathy to all his family
If your friends dont like rugby ....get new friends!
One of us. He can now watch from the best seat in the house.
Didn't know him, never met him, but it was obvious from his input to this forum that his committment to rugby in Cardiff was unparallelled.
Very sad.
"Go ahead and play The Blues if it'll make you happy." Homer J. Simpson"To be born Welsh is to be born privileged. Not with a silver spoon in your mouth, but music in your blood and poetry in your soul." Wilfred Wilson
For Jim, who helped me many times

If all is not lost, then where is it?
A sad time for us all, Jim was a fantastic person and a genuine rugby man through and through.
Gone from our lives but not our memories.
Jim will be missed by Cardiff RFC and Glamorgan Wanderers.
A true gentleman
I'm another who never knew or met Jim, but valued his input to this forum. He will be sadly missed.
