Anybody have any comments?
Well at the moment Cardiff Rugby Football Club Ltd. is the main company name with Cardiff Blues Ltd. also in the company structure - although no accounts have ever been filed. Is this to disolve CRFC Ltd. and then company would utilise the Blues company name in the future?
Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a trifle.
Just had a look at the last lot of company details using a credit check company and the winding up order is shown as "unadvertised" - as I'm not that au fait with commercial accounting does anyone know what difference that makes? The status of Cardiff Blues Ltd. is just shown as "non trading"

Yes.
Cardiff Rugby Football Club dissolved and Cardiff Blues Ltd. rises from the ashes, yet another step away from being Cardiff Rugby.
Not unexpected, the next step will be abandonment of the Cardiff bit of Cardiff Blues, all in the name of regionalisation and disconnection with things Cardiff Rugby.
Following Cardiff RFC all over from sunny Bournemouth in Blue and Black
Although just been doing some googling and the process for dissolving a company appears to be quite different to that of a winding up order.
You can't dissolve if there are debts / responsibilities involved
Dissolution is basically where a company is no longer active and is debt free
Cardiff Rugby Football Club is still an active company so it can't be dissolved, it has to be wound up so that the debts and responsibility can be either wiped free or transferred elsewhere. In this case everything (?) will get transferred to Cardiff Blues Ltd.
I have been informed by e-mail that the isues surrounding this have been resolved some time ago and the petition for winding up the Company will be struck out shortly--possibly this afternoon.

Thanks, Keith.
I wonder which creditor submitted the petition, from what I've been reading it's a pretty serious step to take

HMRC. There's stuff on walesonline about it.

Just got sent the walesonline link from an "interested party" i.e. a Cardiff City supporter

We are clearly buying into the SdR "thing" and not bothering to pay our taxes.
Can people still not see the wood for the trees in "Thomasland"?
Hands OFF
Quite so - if you choose to mix with rogues then rogue-ish behaviour is the likely consequence

Isn't it standard practice for companies to try and pay their tax bills late? I suppose it depends on how good you are at the game. Obviuosly the Blues are as good as they think????
IJM former Ponty Boy now seen the light.
Front page of the Echo today apparently

I believe that winding up orders are not usually issued lightly and I don't think the Blues are much good at the, or any, game at the moment!
Never did like the Tax office, lets hope the boys have been paid and turn up on Sunday to stuff our opponents the "lady boys", on Ladies day. Apparently "lady boys"is a term of endearment according to a Munster fan friend of mine.
It is not normal for HMRC to attempt to wind a company up when only one month's tax is owing. There is a lot more to all this than we are being told.
There is something very wrong in Thomas land and some people need to start to wise up and smell the coffee.

Just stick their wages on the "credit card bill". It's running at over £7m now, isn't it? With no assets to repay it.
Wouldn't the Cardiff Blues Supporters Club be better off asking questions of their Director contacts as to the state of the finances, so that they can pass on this information to their members?
Serious questions need to be asked. Now when was that AGM of CRFC Ltd due?
I wonder why it has been delayed?
