What a bummer, nothing except pride to play for on Saturday v Ayr.

Doncaster go through to the semi final after winning 5 out of 5, we are second only having lost so far to Doncaster so not even a bonus point win v Ayr can alter that.

Still great competition which I hope will continue and go from strength to strength.

Doncaster have only played 4 games so far, they play away to Rotherham Titans in round 5. For info Doncaster Knights are coached by Lynn Howells with their backs coach being Brett Davey.

Yes you are quite correct, they do have to play Rotherham Titans on Saturday to complete their pool matches.

Regarding Lynn Howells and Brett Davey, those of us that went to Doncaster knew that as we saw them up there in Doncaster, there are quite a few other Pontypridd connections as well.

Doncasters four tries gave them a bonus point win to put them clear on 20 points, even if we get a 5 pointer on Saturday and they lose we're still behind on 19...

Shame we blew it with the away game against them but still some high points with good results against Ponty and Rotherham.
