Welsh and Irish want the Italians in Magners League but Edinburgh and Glasgow don't
The Scottish Rugby Union were due to meet on Thursday to discuss their stance on the Italian teams' entry.
A likely no-vote will prompt a swift response from Irish and Welsh chiefs, signalling the Scots' exit.

Well I don't see the point of bringing the Italians in either.
Hands OFF
or the Scots and Irish for that matter
Scots incur a relatively small cost in away fixtures
Irish a bit more but they do bring four decent sides (well if they field first teamers)
Italians are going to incur heavy expenditure in away fixtures, can we afford to bear the cost of regular trips to Italy ?
I think that if BBC Northern Ireland can be persuaded to televise Ulster fixtures and BBC Scotland persuaded to televise Edinburgh and Glasgow fixtures then the extra finance could cover it but at the moment we are running on a shoestring and I'm not sure it can be stretched as far as Italy.
