From the scoreline it looks not too impressive

Hands OFF
Comfortably ahead until shortly before full time when Exeter Chiefs made headway in narrowing the margin.

Following Cardiff RFC all over from sunny Bournemouth in Blue and Black
Won without really stretching ourselves. The expected raft of substitutions broke things up, more for us than them, but it allowed Exeter to score two tries in the last quarter to bring things back to a 4-2 try count in our favour. I thought Sam Warburton played well, as did Mustoe, Czeks looked dangerous coming in from full back, and Lloyd Williams gave pretty good service to Sweeney (who tackled well, as did Shanks). Scrum wasn't particularly comfortable as usual, though.
Exeter are playing Cornish Pirates tomorrow with a completely different line up, so it wasn't their strongest starting selection, but then you must consider who we didn't have involved at all (Melon, Fao, Umpa Lumpa, Bradley, Rush, Nugget, Rees, Parks, Quagmire, Shove, Blair to name the ones I can think of off the top of my head). All in all a rusty performance initially, but after absorbing the initial Exeter pressure, I thought we won at a canter really until the mass substitution phase in the last 20 minutes or so.
We were a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see Parks in a blue (pink?) shirt, but it was a nice day out at a very pleasant ground - they've got a nice set up there at Sandy Park. Pleasant supporters too. I'm afraid they might struggle a bit in the Premiership, but good luck to them for getting there, and I hope they enjoy it, and who knows.... I'd recommend it as a visit and will possibly look to a return visit for the LV cup match.
If at first you don't succeed, don't try scuba diving or parachuting
So still no reall strength in depth.

Agree a nice ground, and loads of people in head-gear too. The supporters near me were a good laugh. Glos will love the new shed!! Pity about the prices. £1.30 for a can of coke.....

Reminds me of a certain location out Leckwith way!
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us Helpless, helpless, helpless
Atmosphere was 1000000000 times better, oh yes cos there was one....
So the similarity with Cardiff City Football Club's Stadium ends with high priced cola then ?

In the corner between the west stand and north terrace, a small coffee stand that was tucked up right alongisde the north terrace. Not selected specifically, we just had to walk past it to pass in front of the north terrace (behind the goal) to get to where we were on the east terrace. The coffee was quite good too, done fresh - coffe for me, coke for Dobbin Jr.
